Director of the Café Ministry—Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Naperville, IL is seeking a part-time Ministry Director to facilitate an outreach ministry through the new Good Shepherd Café.  The Director of the Café Ministry must have an overwhelming passion for people, the café and its ministry. He/she will lead the café team and direct the operations of the café by working with the other Ministry Directors to develop programs and events for their ministries, and inviting and encouraging the public to make use of the café. All net proceeds from the café ministry will go to support other ministries. The Director will work with an advisory board to establish policy and procedures, and provide direction, support & training to the volunteer staff while working as a barista, greeting and caring for the guests. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years prior experience in management of a café, coffee house or restaurant establishment and the vision to direct a new outreach ministry.
