Saturday 5:30 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM
These services, held in the sanctuary, follow a similar order of worship as traditional services but feature music lead by a band and singers. The popular rhythm and style of the music and the casual atmosphere provide for a highly energetic interaction with God through praise.
Saturday 5:30 pm Service
The 5:30 service is a wonderful opportunity for those who wish to
worship on Saturday. This is a contemporary worship experience held in
the Sanctuary with a more casual atmosphere. Contemporary music led by
the Eighth Day singers and musicians help foster an upbeat worship
tone. Prayer in many forms is an important part of the service.
Biblical teaching forms the basis for the Pastor's message which
connects God's Word to today's environment and is the same message that
is heard on Sunday mornings.
Sunday 11:00 Service
The Sunday 11:00 Service offers a contemporary worship experience. A band and singers reinforce the messages of Jesus Christ through
expressive vocal and instrumental ensembles; the "Eighth Day" musicians
are a key part of the 11:00 service. A festive tone prevails in this
more casual atmosphere held in the Sanctuary. Bible verses are delivered through readers, and
illustrated through the Pastor's weekly message which promotes an
understanding of God's Word relevant to modern day life. Prayer is
infused throughout the 11:00 Service.
