"This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God." - 2 Corinthians 9:12

Mission Ministries of Good Shepherd have grown significantly over the past few years. More people than ever before have discovered the joy and impact of inviting God to work through them as part of these vital ministries. Good Shepherd currently supports over 35 domestic and 15 international Mission Ministries. The Good Shepherd family abundantly shares its time, talent, and treasure to bring these Mission visions to reality. Some of them take place in our own Good Shepherd home; others send us across the country; many take us around the world. But each originates with a Holy Spirit led call that is answered by willing and joyful hearts.

Mission Ministries are especially important because they accomplish so much. While they each have a specific purpose, such as preparing meal kits or building an orphanage, in God's infinite wisdom, they result in a great deal more. Many who have worked in Mission Ministries have described their experiences as "life-changing" noting that in serving Christ through these special assignments, they learned to know Him on a far deeper level. The ultimate Mission; however, is sharing their faith along the way. These ministries are indeed "supplying the needs of God's people" and are definitely "an overflowing expression of thanks to God."

There are countless ways to be involved in Mission Ministries at Good Shepherd; people of all ages can be a part of these meaningful efforts. Mission Ministries are joyfully carried out in our church home and around the world.
